The Mooses Win Lowestoft Beach Tournament

The rain broke for long enough on Saturday the 14th of July for the Lowestoft Beach Volleyball Tournament to go ahead, albeit in blustery conditions, attracting around 20 teams. Father and son pair Ron and Tom Ames teamed up with Hermus Chon and performed well in the group stages, dropping only one set out of ten.



With the wind dying down and the volleyball becoming ever more attractive, the Stowmarket team continued their good form to defeat an Ipswich team and lift the trophy.

Congratulations to the Stowmarket boys! Hopefully there will be more success to come on the grass at Cambridge on the 4th and 5th of August and back on the sand at Great Yarmouth over the August Bank Holiday weekend...
